COLUMBUS – No. 3-ranked Columbus State University Women's Soccer is set for a road trip to the Sunshine State for a Peach Belt Conference bout at Flagler (Fla.) on Sunday afternoon in St. Augustine, Fla.
 
The Lady Cougars (8-0-1, 2-0-0 PBC) face off against the Saints (3-1-3, 1-1-2 PBC) at 12 p.m. ET, returning to PBC play after securing a thrilling 3-2 non-conference win over No. 19 Catawba (N.C.) on Wednesday.
 
Columbus State holds a 16-5-5 record over Flagler and last faced off against the Saints in a 2-1 win during last season's first round of the NCAA Southeast Regional in Hickory, N.C.
 
Flagler welcomes CSU to St. Augustine after a 1-1 draw at North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga. on Thursday. The Saints have tallied 13 goals this season and are led by Andrea Fernandez who is the leading points producer with 16, scoring six goals and assisting four. Behind Fernandez are Cisel Akguel and Paige Churchill who both have three goals and two assists for eight points.
 
The Saints' offense averages 13.4 shots per game and has produced a 50% (47-of-94) shot on goal percentage. FC's best offensive production was in the 4-2 win over Converse (S.C.), where the Saints produced a team-high 20 shots and four assists.
 
On the other end, Flagler has allowed nine goals with opponents averaging 13.6 shots per game. The Saints have called only one name to stand between the posts in Henley Grunst who has etched 33 saves in 630 minutes of play.
 
Columbus State remains one of the best attacks in NCAA Division II, leading as the top team in total goals (54), total assists (34), goals per game (6.00), shots per game (25.1), and shots on goal per game (14.4).
 
The CSU attack has produced seven student-athletes with double-digit points so far this season with 
Emma Beddow leading with 18 points. Beddow is tied for first in Division II in assists with eight and has totaled five goals so far. Out of the 34 team assists, 14 individuals have recorded at least one assist with half of those assisting two or more.
 
The Columbus State defense has held opponents to just six goals on the season and 61 total shots for an average of 6.8 per contest. CSU also has allowed just 21 shots on goal.
