PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - The Columbus State University men's golf team placed T2nd out of 22 teams at the Spring Bulldog Clash and
Phil Snyman led the Cougars finishing T5th out of 118 individuals. The tournament was hosted by Barton College.
The Cougars improved on the second day of the tournament, increasing three spots to finish T2nd with Newberry College, scoring 1-over 841. CSU shot a 3-under 277 in round three, the team's best score throughout the three rounds. In the second round the Cougars scored 1-over 281.
Phil Snyman climbed the leaderboard three places on Tuesday, shooting 3-under 207. Snyman scored 3-under 67 in the second round and 1-under 69 in the third.Â
Bernard Meyer and
Russell Makepeace both placed T14th shooting par. Meyer shot 3-under today to climb the leaderboard 14 places and Makepeace shot 1-under to move up two spots.
Martin Gruendemann finished T32nd with a score of 4-over 214 and
Karan Nalam placed T105th, shooting 20-over 230.
