COLUMBUS - Columbus State University Women's Soccer was selected 23rd in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Preseason Poll for NCAA Division II, the national association announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Cougars are coming off a 15-4-2 overall record in 2023 with a 7-1-1 Peach Belt Conference record which was highlighted by the program's ninth Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championship.
 
CSU wrapped up the season with the program's 15th NCAA Tournament Appearance and third straight, falling in the Second Round. The Cougars return two-time All-American Emma Beddow as well as All-Region forward Sarah Hungerford.
 
Columbus State is set to kick the 2024 season off on Sept. 5 at the Walden Soccer Complex in Columbus against Carson-Newman (Ga.) at 2 p.m. ET.
