DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Columbus State Women's Soccer team keeps adding hardware to the trophy case. The Cougars went on the road Saturday and knocked off Peach Belt rival North Georgia 1–0 to claim their third straight Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championship.
It was exactly the type of tight, gritty title-game battle you'd expect between two of the league's top programs. North Georgia came out firing, putting 10 shots on the board in the opening half, but
Heidi Harris was in full championship mode, stacking up save after save to keep things scoreless at the break.
Columbus State finally broke through in the 60th minute on a moment of pure Cougar quality.
Mia Robinson buried the game-winner, her ninth of the season, after a clean setup from
Sarah Hungerford, giving Columbus State the 1–0 lead.
From there, it was all about composure and defending. The Cougars absorbed pressure, stayed organized, and let Harris handle the rest. She finished the afternoon with seven saves, recording yet another shutout on one of the biggest stages of the year.
North Georgia pushed to the final whistle, but the Cougars refused to bend—closing out a championship performance built on toughness, discipline, and one clutch finish.
CSU now holds the crown for the third year in a row, a run that continues to cement the program as one of the Peach Belt's most consistent and dangerous forces.
Columbus State will now wait for NCAA Selection on Monday, November 17, at 6:30 p.m. ET to see who and where they will play next.
