AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference has announced the 2025 Women's Tennis All-Conference awards with Columbus State University women's tennis garnering numerous awards.
The 10th-ranked Lady Cougars pick up a handful of postseason honors ahead of this weekend's conference tournament held at the John W. Walden Tennis Center in Columbus. All-PBC awards were selected by the league's headed coaches and were not permitted to vote for their own players.
Leading the way is Nikoline Gullacksen and Mariana Ramirez, picking up First Team All-PBC honors while also pairing up for First Team All-PBC in doubles. This is the second-straight season the pair have won First Team honors in both singles and doubles. Ramirez picks up her fourth All-PBC singles honor of her career, winning First Team honors in 2024 and Second Team recognition in 2022 and 2023. As for Gullacksen this is her third career recognition in singles, earning First Team in 2024 and Second Team in 2023.
Individually, Gullacksen has put together an 8-4 overall record in 2025 while going 3-2 in conference play. She won the ITA Southeast Regional in the fall and was a semifinalist at the ITA Cup as well. She is currently ranked 12th in the latest ITA singles ratings. As for Ramirez, she is 12-4 overall in 2025 and 5-1 in PBC play with a national ranking of 33rd in singles.
For the pairing, they are ranked 10th in the ITA rankings and went 6-3 this season and 3-2 in PBC action. The duo secured the doubles title at the ITA Southeast Regional as well.
As for Second Team honors, the pairing of Isadora Oliveira and Laura Pesickova earned Second Team All-PBC in doubles. The duo went 5-3 this season at doubles play while also going 4-1 in conference action from the number two spot in the lineup.
As a team, CSU completed the regular season as Co-Champions of the PBC Regular Season title with a 5-1 conference slate. CSU finished with a 13-5 overall record as well. The Lady Cougars are the three-seed in the PBC tournament and will host sixth-seeded Lander (S.C.) at 3 p.m. ET on Friday.
