COLUMBUS – Columbus State University women's tennis has earned academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), recognizing the program as an All-Academic Team and honoring eight members of the program as ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Columbus State was recognized as one of 104 programs across NCAA Division II that was awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
For All-Academic Team, programs must have a grade point average of 3.2 or above, include all student-athletes on the eligibility form, and factor in all varsity letter winners into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.

Laura Pesickova,
Nikoline Gullacksen,
Mariana Ramirez,
Majra Djokic,
Maria Markosov, and
Isadora Oliveira were named ITA Women's Scholar-Athletes.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the academic year and be listed on the institution's eligibility form.
