COLUMBUS, Ga. – Columbus State senior outfielder Bryce Knox has been named to the 2026 ABCA NCAA Division II Southeast Region All-Defensive Team, the American Baseball Coaches Association announced.
The regional all-defensive teams recognize the top defensive performers across NCAA Division II and are selected by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association. Players selected to the regional teams were also eligible for ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove honors.
Knox anchored the Cougar outfield throughout the 2026 season, appearing in 52 games while providing one of the most reliable defensive presences in the Southeast Region. The senior finished the year with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, recording 121 putouts and five assists without committing an error across 126 total opportunities.
In addition to his defensive excellence, Knox contributed offensively by driving in 41 runs, the second-highest total on the team. He also collected five home runs and 78 total bases during his senior campaign.
Knox helped lead Columbus State to a 30-22 overall record and an 18-12 mark in Peach Belt Conference play. The Cougars advanced to the final game of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Greenwood bracket before concluding their season against eventual tournament champion Lander.
The 2026 ABCA NCAA Division II Region All-Defensive Teams were selected by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and coordinated by the ABCA NCAA Division II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
