MORROW, Ga. – The eighth-ranked Columbus State University women's tennis team won its seventh straight match Saturday sweeping Clayton State 9-0 in a Peach Belt Conference tilt. All the action took place at the Clayton State Tennis Facility in Morrow.

Columbus State (9-1, 6-0 PBC) got off to a quick start thanks to winning all three doubles match. The top spot was the only close match of the day with
Beatriz Leon and
Beatriz Lopez squeaking out an 8-6 victory. The other two matches were 8-0 sweeps by CSU.
Giorgia Vitale and
Camila Tobar took second doubles while
Kirsa Utech and
Rachael Williams won third.

The Lady Cougars swept three more singles matches. At the third spot, 15
th-ranked Lopez won 6-0, 6-0 with
Olivera Tadijin also picking up the sweep at the fifth position.
Saravinder Pannu blanked her opponent at sixth singles as well.

CSU was also dominant in the remaining three matches. At the top spot, Vitale won 6-1, 6-4 to grab another victory. Utech won 6-0 in the opening set at second singles before taking the second 6-3 while 27
th-ranked Tobar lost just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 victory in the fourth spot.

Columbus State will be right back in action Sunday hosting Nebraska Kearney at 1 p.m. at the Cooper Creek Tennis Center.
