COLUMBUS – The eighth-ranked Columbus State University women's tennis team breezed to a 9-0 victory over Georgia Southwestern on Sunday. The Peach Belt Conference match took place at the Cooper Creek Tennis Center in Columbus.

In the three doubles matches, CSU (7-1, 4-0 PBC) lost just one game.
Camila Tobar and
Giorgia Vitale swept second doubles while
Kirsa Utech and
Rachael Williams swept the third position.
Beatriz Lopez and
Beatriz Leon took first doubles 8-1.

It was more dominance in singles play as four Lady Cougars swept their matches. Viatle (first), 15
th-ranked Lopez (third), 27
th-ranked Tobar (fourth) and Saravindr Pannu (sixth) all won their matches by the score of 6-0, 6-0.

At second singles, Utech easily took the match 6-2, 6-2 while
Olivera Tadijin took fifth singles 6-3, 6-2.

Columbus State will return to action on Tuesday, March 7 hosting Lander. The matches will begin at 2 p.m. at the Cooper Creek Tennis Center.
