COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer team will look for its second consecutive victory on Saturday traveling to Clayton State for a Peach Belt Conference contest. About the Columbus State University Lady Cougars
The Lady Cougars snapped a three-match losing streak on Wednesday after knocking off Young Harris 4-0. CSU improved to 8-0-0 all-time against the Mountain Lions.
Four players found the back of the net against YHC. It was the fourth time this season that at least three different Lady Cougars have scored in the same match.
After earning its first conference win of the season, Columbus State is currently tied for eighth place in the PBC standings. The Lady Cougars are just four points out from fifth.
About the Clayton State University Lakers
Clayton State will enter Saturday's match with a 4-2-1 overall record and a 1-1-1 mark in conference play.
The Lakers played to a 1-1 draw against Lander in their last match on Wednesday.Â
Janne Brouer (four goals) and Manoly Baquerizo (three goals) pace the offensive attack for Clayton State. Valentina Bonaiuto has played every minute this season for the Lakers in goal. She has posted a 1.19 goals-against average while having a .750 save percentage.Â

Riley Clark and Kimmy May have been a dynamic scoring duo for Columbus State in 2019. Clark and May each rank inside the top-10 in the Peach Belt in goals and points.
Clark is currently tied for third with seven goals while her 14 points rank seventh.
May has scored five goals and tallied 11 points putting her ninth and 10th in the conference, respectively.
Climbing the Record Book
After scoring in four straight matches for Columbus State, Riley Clark has started to ascend up the CSU record book. Clark is now tied for fifth all-time with 43 career goals with former Lady Cougar legend Stephanie Lowery (2009-2012). In the PBC record book, Clark is tied for 11th in goals and 12th in points (97).Â
It is the third time in Clark's career that she has scored in four straight matches.Â

Since starting the program in 2004, Jay Entlich has established CSU women's soccer into a national powerhouse. With an overall record of 264-62-24 at CSU, he is the winningest coach in PBC history. His overall coaching record of 286-78-24 puts him eighth all-time at the NCAA Division II level.
He has coached four PBC Player of the Year award winners and has been named the conference's Coach of the Year in every season since 2014.
