COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University baseball team will not travel to Carrollton, Ga. on Wednesday to take on the University of West Georgia head coach
Greg Appleton announced on Tuesday.
The announcement comes after West Georgia decided to cancel the game for scheduling purposes.Â
The 24th-ranked Cougars will now turn their attention to a crucial three-game Peach Belt Conference series against Young Harris College in Columbus. The two teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday before wrapping up the series on Sunday at 1 p.m.Â
