COLUMBUS - The No. 12 Columbus State University baseball team is set to host its first three-game series of the year this weekend at Burger King Stadium as Spring Hill College College visits Columbus.

COUGAR NOTES
• The Cougars are 127-36 at Burger King Stadium since the start of the 2015 seasonÂ
• CSU has won 11 straight series at home dating back to the 2019 season
• The Cougars have scored 59 runs in four games
• Ten CSU pitchers have logged at least an inning for the Cougars. Logan Seehafer is the only player with two appearances so farÂ

SPRING HILL NOTES
• Spring Hill (3-0) has also started the year with a bang, sweeping Southeastern Baptist College in a doubleheader and defeating Auburn University Montgomery 9-1 on Wednesday
• The Badgers have scored 36 runs in the three games led by Norris McClure. McClure is 7-for-10 on the year with five RBIs. Grant Akridge (.556, 6 RBIs) has the lone homer of the year for SHC
• Spring Hill went 18-12 over 2021, playing only non-conference games due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SPC are members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and won the 2019 tournament championship (last year tournament was held)
• Conner Ingram (4 IP, 0 ER), Logan Clark (4 IP, 0 ER) and Jack Lahr (3 IP, 0 ER) have started games for the Badgers
• Frank Sims has been at the helm of Spring Hill since the 1985 season. Since then, he has won over 930 games for SPC
SERIES HISTORY
• Columbus State and Spring Hill first met during the 1973 season, in CSU's just third season of play
• The Cougars went 2-1 against the Badgers in 2022, sweeping a doubleheader at Burger King Stadium on April 7 before dropping a single-game in Mobile on April 28
