GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Columbus State University women's golf team finished round one of the Lady Bearcat Invitational in first place out of 22 teams with an overall team score of 303. The invitational is hosted by Lander University at the Greenwood Country Club.
Selina Budde,
Maddy Krueger and
Ana Thorne are each tied for fifth place, each shooting a 3-over 75 in the first round of the invitational. Budde, Krueger and Thorne are tied with five other players for the fifth spot.
Beryl Giletti is tied for 28th place with a score of 6-over 78 and
Victoria Libaak is tied for 43rd after a 7-over 79 performance.
Lincoln Memorial is right behind the Lady Cougars in second place, shooting a team score of 305. Lee and Lenoir-Rhyne are tied for third with 306s.
Columbus State will wrap up the Lady Bearcat Invitational on Tuesday.
