DESTIN, Fla. — The Columbus State University Women's Golf team sits ninth overall after Round Two of the Emerald Coast Collegiate, hosted by the University of Missouri–St. Louis at Sandestin Resort & Club in Destin, Florida. The Cougars concluded the two-round event with a team score of 35-over par, posting rounds of 20-over and 15-over.
Columbus State was led by
Anna Holley, who is in a tie for 24th place at 6-over par. Holley recorded rounds of 74 (+2) and 76 (+4), the team's top individual performances over the two days of competition.
Mia Arroyo,
Peyton Maraman, and
Sydney Himes each finished tied for 45th overall at 11-over par. Arroyo posted rounds of 75 (+3) and 80 (+8), while Maraman carded 79 (+7) in the opening round before improving to 76 (+4) in the second. Himes registered scores of 80 (+8) and 75 (+3) to complete her tournament.
Rounding out the scoring lineup for the Cougars was Samantha Dewendt, who finished tied for 56th at 13-over par with rounds of 81 (+9) and 76 (+4).
Columbus State also had two individuals compete in the field.
Kennedee Pearson finished tied for 64th at 15-over par, while
Andrea Peraza is tied for 89th at 29-over par.
The Emerald Coast Collegiate continues Tuesday with the final round of competition, as the Cougars look to improve their standing on the leaderboard at Sandestin Resort & Club.
