COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Columbus State University Women's Golf team closed out play at the Columbus State University Lady Cougar Classic with a fourth-place finish at Green Island Country Club. The Lady Cougars posted a three-round total of 70-over par (305-295-330—930) while competing on their home course.
Columbus State was led by
Mia Arroyo, who turned in the team's top individual performance with a tie for fourth place at 12-over par. Arroyo highlighted her tournament with a strong second round of 1-under par and remained in contention throughout the event.
Peyton Maraman added another solid showing for the Lady Cougars, finishing tied for seventh overall at 13-over par. Maraman delivered consistent scoring across all three rounds to provide Columbus State with a key presence near the top of the leaderboard.
Nathariya Phimsoutham contributed to the team total with a tie for 23rd-place finish at 21-over par, carding rounds of 6-over, 7-over, and 8-over.
Sydney Himes rounded out the Cougars' counting scores, finishing tied for 31st at 24-over par.
Competing as individuals, Laura Delaubert paced the group with a 17th-place finish at 17-over par. Samantha Dewendt also turned in a tie for 31st at 24-over, while
Kennedee Pearson and
Andrea Peraza each finished tied for 52nd.
Anna Holley completed the individual entries for Columbus State.
The Lady Cougars return to action April 19-21 at the Peach Belt Conference Championship, held at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.
