INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Columbus State University men's and women's tennis teams are both ranked first in the latest 2022 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Rankings.
The Cougars post an overall DII record of 12-1, with an 11-1 in-region record. Peach Belt Conference rival the University of North Georgia is second in the rankings, with fellow PBC schools Lander University and Flagler College following to take the third and fourth spots.
The Lady Cougars are 12-4 overall in DII, holding an 11-2 in-regional record. Following the Lady Cougars is PBC rival Flagler College. Queens University (North Carolina) and North Georgia hold the third and fourth spots in the rankings.
Both the men's and women's matches on Saturday, April 16 against North Georgia have been postponed due to rain in the forecast in Columbus. CSU and UNG will reschedule the PBC dual for Sunday, April 25 at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.
