MCCORMICK, S.C. - The No. 20 Columbus State University women's golf team is just one stroke back at the Savannah Lakes Invitational taking place at the Monticello Golf Course in McCormick, S.C.

TEAM RESULTS
Columbus State is very much in contention after firing a 6-over 294 in its first round of the season. Tournament hosts Lander University (+5, 294) will tee off Tuesday with the lead and will try to defend off six schools within five shots of the lead.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
Beryl Giletti is also vying for a win at the Monticello Golf Course as she is one shot back from tournament leader Gracie McCoy of Lander. Giletti was one of 10 players under par in round one with a 1-under 71. 

Marine Legenti and Maddie Krueger are fighting for top-10 finishes after solid starts.
