Women's Soccer Selected as Fourth Seed in Southeast Region

The Cougars will enter the NCAA DII tournament as the fourth seed in the Southeast Region.

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee today announced the field of 56 teams for the 2023 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship. The Columbus State University Cougars will enter the championship as the fourth seed in the Southeast Region. 

The Cougars will match up against Peach Belt Conference rival and fifth seed Flagler College in the first round on Friday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. in Hickory, N.C., hosted by first-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne University.

The two finalists in each subregion will advance to third and quarterfinal-round competition to be played Thursday, Nov. 30 or Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2 or Sunday, Dec. 3. The semifinals and championship games will take place December 7 and 9 at Sportsplex at Matthews in Matthews, North Carolina hosted by Wingate University.
