LAKELAND, Fla. - The Columbus State University women's golf team placed 10th out of 18 on Monday afternoon. They shot just north of 300 in both rounds.
TEAM RESULTS:
The Lady Cougars shot a 304 in the first round which placed them in 12th. In the second round, they improved their score from 304 to 303 which bumped them up to 10th. CSU is comfortably in 10th and is ahead of North Georgia by three strokes and in front of the Embry-Riddle Eagles by seven strokes. They are well within striking distance of others ahead of them as they trail Tampa by three strokes, Limestone by four, and Rollins by five.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
Maddy Krueger leads the Lady Cougars as her fired a first round score of 77 and improved in the second by shooting a 72. Her first two rounds added up to 149 total strokes which has her currently tied for 22nd.
Marine Legentil is right behind her with a total score of 150 which has her placed tied for 24th. Marine had a first round score of 72 and a second round total of 78.
