COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University baseball team goes into hostile territory as they visit Albany State on Tuesday, March 14. Both teams are coming off series wins over the weekend.
The Cougars are coming off a win against North Georgia on Sunday, March 12 by a score of 15-4.
Derek Wylie leads CSU with a .388 batting average and he is second in the PBC in that category. Columbus State also has the top three homerun hitters in the conference,

Isaac Bouton with five. As a team, the Cougars lead the Peach Belt Conference with a .318 average, 32 homeruns, and 168 RBI's.
For the Golden Rams, they have four batters over a .400 batting average. They are led by Lavoisier Fisher who is batting .411 with 11 homeruns on the season and 29 rbi's. Albany State currently leads the SIAC in the standings and they have won their last 13 out of 15 games.
These two teams will square off at 4 p.m. on the campus of Albany State.
