Tennis Set for Road Match at UNG

Men's and women's tennis teams will travel to Dahlonega, Ga. to face the University of North Georgia.

DAHLONEGA, Ga. -  The Columbus State University tennis teams will travel to Dahlonega, Ga. for their match up against the University of North Georgia Nighthawks on Wednesday, April 12. at 2 p.m. at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek. 

Men's Tennis

The Cougars are currently ranked No. 6 in the nation and No. 1 in PBC standings. They hold an overall record of 11-3 and are undefeated in conference play with a record of 3-0. The Cougars hope to maintain that success with their match against the Nighthawks. Most recently, Columbus State defeated Anderson University (S.C.), 6-0 on Thursday, April 6.

North Georgia is currently No. 16 and has an overall record of 8-6. In the Peach Belt Conference, they have a record of 2-2. Most recently, they defeated North Greenville with a score of 6-1. 

Women's Tennis 

The Lady Cougars are currently 9-4 overall and 3-1 in Peach Belt Conference play. Columbus State is currently sitting at No. 3 in the Peach Belt Standings. Most recently they defeated Anderson University (S.C.), 6-0 on Thursday, April 6. 

North Georgia is currently ranked No. 8 in the nation and No. 2 in the PBC standings. They have an overall record of 12-4 and a conference record of 4-1. In their most recent match, they defeated North Greenville, 7-0.
