COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University baseball team is set to host the Augusta Jaguars starting on Friday, April 14. The Cougars are currently tied for fourth in the PBC with a record of 25-11 (12-9 PBC). The Jaguars are in eighth place in the conference with a record of 20-18 (10-13 PBC).
For the Cougars, they have lost their last three PBC series and are looking to get hot to make a push to host the Peach Belt Conference tournament.
Ian King leads CSU as he is batting at a .333 clip on the year and he has 14 RBI's on the season.

Isaac Bouton, and
Win Johns are all inside the top-10 in the Peach Belt in home run's. They have a combined 35 home run's out of the Cougars 46 total bombs on the season.
On the bump,
Noah Windhorst leads the Cougars with 62.1 innings pitched and he is also third in the PBC with an era of 2.45.
Leo Giannoni leads CSU out of the pen with 14 appearances on the season.
Ryan Suppa and
Peyton Burton both have 12 appearances on the season.
For the Jaguars, Koby Ayala leads the team with a .354 batting average. Parker Ingram leads the club with eight home run's on the season and Harrison Aulds has 44 RBI's on the season which is the fourth most in the Peach Belt Conference. As a team, Augusta has a 5.95 era and Mason Bernard leads them with 49.1 innings pitched.
Both teams will square off at Burger King Stadium in Columbus, Ga. at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 14.
