AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference tabbed Columbus State University's
Beryl Giletti the PBC Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday, April 6. This is Giletti's second weekly honor of the 2023 season.
Giletti was the medalist at the UNG Bracket Challenge, leading the Cougars to a third-place finish in the match play event. The sophomore from Houilles, France, opened with a three-over 75 to beat Grand Valley State's Olivia Stoll (Golfstat ranking #62) by five strokes as CSU advanced to the semifinals. She then shot even-par 72 to tie with Findlay's Mary Kelly Mulcahy (Golfstat #15) as CSU fell in a tiebreak. In the third-place match, Giletti shot a two-under 70 to beat Missouri-St. Louis' Momo Kikuchi by 15 strokes. The 70 was tied for the low round of the event and is her low round of the season.
Ranked #60 in the Golfstat relative rankings, Giletti is currently fourth in the PBC in stroke average.
