COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer team was ranked third in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Preseason Poll for NCAA Division II.

The Cougars had a historical season in 2022, posting an overall record of 19-3-2 and a 9-0-1 Peach Belt Conference record. Columbus State reached the NCAA Final Four for the third time in program history and produced four All-Americans including returning defender Carley Canzoneri and forward Emma Beddow.

CSU won the PBC Regular-Season Championship for the 14th time in program history, the Southeast Regional Championship for the seventh time, and was ranked in the top five in every weekly poll in 2022.

The Cougars will kickoff the 2023 season on Thursday, Aug. 31 against Barry University at the Walden Soccer Complex in Columbus, Ga. at 6 p.m.
