McCORMICK, S.C. - Marine Legentil is in second place after the first round of the Savannah Lakes Invitational and the Lady Cougars as a team are in 10th place. The tournament is hosted by Lander University.

Legentil shot a 1-under 71 in the first round to place her second, just two strokes behind the leader. Sadie Norman and Maddy Krueger are also high on the leaderboard, Norman shooting 6-over 78 and Krueger 7-over 79.

The Lady Cougars will play day two of the invitational on Monday, Sept. 25.
