ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The fall portion of the season concluded this week for the Columbus State University women's golf team as they wrapped up at the Flagler Fall Slam.
The Lady Cougars completed the 36-hole tournament on Tuesday at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine, Fla. CSU finished 10th out of 13 teams with a score of 633 (+57) at the par-72, 6,062-yard course.
First Round
Columbus State opened with a first round 326 (+38) on Monday led by Sadie Norman's score of 76 (+4) to place herself at T-16 in the individual standings. Both Lexis Fickel and Samantha Dewendt Morales followed with 82s (+10) to land at T-41 in the field.
Andrea Peraza carded an 86 (+14) for T-57 while Laura DeLaubert finished the first round with an 89 (+17) for T-64.
Second Round
Dewendt Morales improve in the second round with an even-par 72 to shift up to T-20 in the field, finishing with a two-round score of +10. Norman followed with a 78 (+6) to finish alongside Dewendt Morales with an overall score of +10.
Fickel finished with a 73 (+1) on Tuesday for a total of +11, landing at T-22 for the tournament. DeLaubert closed with an 84 (+12) for T-61 in the field with a total of +29 followed by Peraza in T-65 with a final round of 93 (+21) for a total score of +35.
The Lady Cougars closed out the day in 10th, recording a team score of 307 in round two for the two-round total of 633 (+57).

- Columbus State concludes the fall portion of the season and will return to play in February at the Battle at Hilton Head Island.
