AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Columbus State men's and women's tennis teams will travel to Augusta, Ga. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 to open the 2024 season against Peach Belt Conference opponent Augusta University. The match is set to start at 1 p.m.

GAME NOTES

Men:

• Augusta is 3-0, shutting-out USC Sumter, Benedict and Coker 
• The National Runner-Ups, CSU is coming off of a 21-5 season in 2023
• Felix Steen, Justin Welz and Andreas Sandrone return to the Cougar lineup
• All of Augusta's lineup is undefeated, 3-0

Women:

• The Jaguars are 1-1, beating Benedict and falling to Coker
• CSU posted a 16-7 record in 2023, making it to the National Tournament
• The Lady Cougars have five returners, including all-conference honorees Mariana Ramirez and Nikoline Gullacksen
• Juliana Martinez and Camila Taborga are both 2-0
