COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University tennis teams are scheduled to host the University of West Florida on Friday, March 22 at the John W. Walden Tennis Center in Columbus. Both matches are set to start at 1 p.m.
Men
The 7th-ranked Columbus State men's team posts a 9-4 record, while the 17th-ranked Argos are 8-4. The Cougars post a two-game winning streak, beating Wingate University and Belmont Abbey College last week in North Carolina. The Argos hold a six-game winning streak, recently defeating 15th-ranked Ouachita Baptist.

Thomas Cardona is 10-1 in singles and him and his partner
Daniel Hammond hold a 7-3 record in doubles. Pedro Cordeiro leads the Argos with a 12-2 singles record and him and his teammate Bernardo Costa are 19-6 in doubles.
Women
The 13-ranked Lady Cougars post an 8-5 record and the 15th-ranked UWF women's team is 8-4. Both teams hold a one-game winning streak, with CSU beating Belmont Abbey and UWF beating Henderson State.Â
Nikoline Gullacksen leads Columbus State in singles with a 26-2 record and in doubles she is 10-3 with her partner
Mariana Ramirez. For the Argos, Irene Receuenco is 14-8 in singles play and her and her teammate Raissa Wagner hold a 14-7 doubles record.
