Tennis to Host UNG and UWF

The men's and women's tennis teams will host UNG and UWF Friday and Saturday at the Walden Tennis Center.

COLUMBUS - The No. 5 Columbus State University men's tennis team and the No. 14 women's tennis teams are set to host Peach Belt Conference rival the University of North Georgia on Friday, April 19 and nonconference opponent the University of West Florida on Saturday, April 20 at the John W. Walden Tennis Center in Columbus, Ga.

Scouting North Georgia
  • The No. 9 men's team posts an 11-5 (2-1 PBC) record
  • In singles, four Nighthawks tally 10 wins, and in doubles play, the pairs of Benoit/Eldin and Sassi/Castellanos hold nine wins
  • The No. 3 women's team is 17-0 (4-0 PBC)
  • Angelina Linnikova holds a 17-2 singles record while the duo of Ascarrunz/Reis is 18-1 in doubles
