PBC Releases Baseball Tournament Bracket, CSU Third Seed

The Cougars enter the tournament as the third seed and will play sixth seed North Georgia on Friday at 6 p.m.

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference has released the bracket for the 2024 baseball tournament with play beginning on Friday, May 3, with two, four-team double-elimination brackets. Top-seeded Lander will host the 4, 5 and 8 seeds while second-seeded Georgia College & State University will host the 3, 6 and 7 seeds.

Columbus State has been tabbed the third seed in the tournament and will face sixth seed North Georgia on Friday at 6 p.m. in Milledgeville, Ga.

Each site will play double-elimination until Sunday. The two winning teams from the opening weekend will meet for a best-of-three championship series at the site of the highest seed the following weekend.

Saturday, May 4
11 a.m. – Game 3 – Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
3 p.m. – Game 4 – Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 (elimination game)
7 p.m. – Game 5 – Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 (elimination game)
