LAKELAND, Fla. – After some rough weather on Monday, Columbus State University women's golf took to the course on Tuesday to complete rounds one and two at the Lady Moc Classic in Lakeland, Fla.

The Lady Cougars competed in the adjusted 36-hole tournament at the Par 72, Grasslands Golf and Country Club. Columbus State finished in 18th place with a two-round total of 665 (+89).

First Round

Columbus State opened with a team score of 333 (+45) in the first round with Lexis Fickel's score of 78 (+6) leading the way. Laura DeLaubert followed with an 80 (+8) with Sydney Himes behind with an 87 (+15). Samantha Dewendt Morales and Andrea Peraza rounded out the group with scores of 88 (+16) and 95 (+23), respectively.

Second Round

Himes highlighted the second round by improving to an 81 (+9) with Dewendt Morales following with an 82 (+10). Fickel carded a score of 84 (+12) while Peraza finished with an 85 (+13) and DeLaubert with a 90 (+18).

Fickel led with a two-round total of 18-over followed by Himes with 24-over. DeLaubert, Dewendt Morales, and Peraza finished with totals of 26-over, 26-over, and 36-over, respectively.
