DESTIN, Fla. – Columbus State University women's golf traveled Destin, Fla. to compete in the Emerald Coast Collegiate for a three-day, 54-hole tournament hosted by Missouri-St. Louis.
Action began on early on Monday after Sunday's first round was postponed due to rain. The Lady Cougars took on a loaded field for 36-holes of play on Monday and wrapped up with 18 holes on Tuesday at the par 71, 6,125-yard Sandestin-Baytowne Golf Club.
Columbus State finished 18th in the field with a three-round total of 990 (+138). Lexis Fickel led the way with a total score of 233 (+20) to finish T-56th with a low-round of 75 (+4) after opening with a 77 (+6). Sydney Himes also produced one round of 77 (+6) in the third round on Tuesday.
