AUGUSTA, Ga. – Warrick Wilmot of Columbus State University baseball captured Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week honors for his performances during the week of April 7-13.
The junior infielder/designated hitter from Panama City, Florida picked up his first PBC weekly recognition after batting .500 over five games with three doubles and a pair of home runs.
In addition, Wilmot garnered nine RBIs and finished the week slugging .950. During the series against GSW, he tallied eight hits on 13 at-bats. He went 3-for-4 in the opener against the Canes with two runs, one homer, one double, and four runs driven in.
Wilmot followed with 3-for-5 performance in game two and a 2-for-4 mark with three RBIs in the series finale on Sunday. He leads the Cougars in both RBIs (42) and doubles (12) while being tied for ninth in the conference in RBIs and tied for seventh in doubles.
