ALBANY, Ga. – The Columbus State University Men's Golf team turned in a strong performance at the Hurricane Invitational, finishing in second place against a competitive field. The Cougars showed consistency across the event and continue to build momentum early in the fall season.
Leading the way for CSU was
Bernard Meyer, who delivered an impressive week to pace the Cougars. Meyer finished second in the tournament at 4-under par, highlighted by steady rounds of 69, 71, and 72 to secure a top individual spot on the leaderboard. His play gave the Cougars the spark they needed to climb into contention.
Columbus State closed the event with a team total that kept them within striking distance of the tournament champion, showcasing both depth and resilience.
