Augusta, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference has named Columbus State University senior
Bernard Meyer Co-Golfer of the Week after his stellar performance at the Hurricane Invitational in Albany, Ga.
Meyer, a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, and a Finance major at CSU, finished runner-up against a strong field, helping the Cougars secure a second-place team result. He posted rounds of 69 (-3), 71 (-1), and 72 (E) over the two-day event, finishing at 4-under par for the tournament. He consistently performed across all three rounds, making him one of the top performers in the Peach Belt this week.
This marks another accolade in Meyer's decorated Cougar career, as he continues to establish himself as one of the premier golfers in the Peach Belt Conference.
The Cougars will be in action again at the Copperhead Championship, on October 13-14, in Palm Harbor, Fla., at Innisbrook Resort.
