MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — The Columbus State University Women's Golf team recorded a 10th-place finish at the Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate, held at Dunes West Golf Club in Mount Pleasant, S.C., and hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University.
Columbus State was led by
Mia Arroyo, who finished tied for 34th overall at 23-over par. Arroyo turned in consistent rounds of 10-over, 6-over, and 7-over to lead the Cougars across the tournament.
Sydney Himes followed with a tie for 40th at 25-over par (14-over, 5-over, 6-over), while Nathariya Phimsoutham placed tied for 49th at 29-over par with rounds of 12-over, 7-over, and 10-over.
Laura Delaubert added a tie for 54th-place finish at 31-over par (10-over, 9-over, 12-over), and
Anna Holley rounded out the team scoring with a tie for 66th at 36-over par, improving in the final round with an 8-over performance. Competing as an individual, Samantha Dewendt finished tied for 73rd at 40-over par.
As a team, Columbus State showed resilience over the final two rounds, trimming 18 strokes from its opening round score to remain competitive in a challenging field.
