ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The Columbus State University Women's golf team posted a fourth-place finish at the Peach Belt Conference Championship, held at World Golf Village and hosted by Flagler College.
Columbus State recorded a three-round total of +86 (22-over, 36-over, 28-over), finishing behind a competitive field that included team champion Flagler College. The Cougars showed consistency across the tournament, highlighted by a strong opening round and steady play throughout the championship.
Leading the way for Columbus State was
Mia Arroyo, who finished tied for 11th overall with a 54-hole score of +18 (4-over, 9-over, 5-over). Arroyo led the Cougars with a balanced performance across all three rounds, positioning herself among the top finishers in the field.
Nathariya Phimsoutham added a tied-for-18th-place finish, carding a +24 total (9-over, 9-over, 6-over).
Peyton Maraman followed closely behind, finishing tied for 19th at +28 (6-over, 11-over, 11-over).
Rounding out the scoring lineup,
Sydney Himes placed tied for 26th with a +40 (3-over, 11-over, 26-over), while Samantha Dewendt competed in the final two rounds.
The Lady Cougars' fourth-place finish caps a competitive showing at the conference championship as Columbus State now awaits the postseason Selection Show on Sunday, April 26, on NCAA.com.
