TEMPE, AZ - On Tuesday, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association ("ITA") announced the 2026 ITA Division II Men's National Award recipients. Every year, the ITA recognizes coaches and student-athletes for their excellence both on the court and in their communities throughout the season.
Following another historic year on the courts, Columbus State's Jeri Stewart was honored as the ITA Men's Tennis Assistant Coach of the Year. "I am very excited for Jeri in receiving this honor," said Head Tennis Coach Evan Isaacs. "Every day, Jeri pours her heart into this program, and I cannot thank her enough for her continued dedicated efforts. She has had a profound influence over the men and women of CSU Tennis."
The Division II national awards include: ITA Dunlop/Coach of the Year, ITA Assistant Coach of the Year, Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award, ITA Rookie of the Year, ITA Most Improved Senior, ITA Senior Player of the Year, and the ITA Player to Watch.
