More Schedule Changes for Tennis

Rain has caused havoc so far this year for the Cougar and Lady Cougar tennis teams.

COLUMBUS - Columbus State University head tennis coach Evan Isaacs announced additional schedule changes on Friday.

CSU's matches against Wingate University scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 6, have been postponed due to weather. The two teams will now meet on Friday, March 18 at noon in Wingate, N.C.

The schedule shuffle continues for the Lady Cougars. CSU and Georgia Southwestern University will now play on Monday, March 14, in Americus, Ga. in Peach Belt Conference. The move was forced due to the rescheduling of the Wingate match to March 18.

Columbus State will attempt to take the court on Friday, Feb. 11 in its season-opener against Auburn University-Montgomery. First serve is set for noon at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.
