VALDOSTA, Ga. - The second round of the NCAA DII Men's Golf South/Southeast Regional was suspended due to weather conditions in the Valdosta, Ga. area. The three-round tournament is taking place at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
No. 19 Columbus State University was on the course when play was called and will tee off at 7 a.m. on Saturday morning to finish up round two. The Cougars are in seventh place currently and are 1-under so far in the second round.
Eric Wowor leads the Cougars through 12 holes in round two with a 2-under. Wowor sits at 5-under overall for the tournament and is tied for fourth.
No. 1 Barry University completed its second round and holds a two stroke lead over No. 10 Limestone University. The Buccaneers are 17-under through 36-holes.
Saturday will be a busy day at the Kinderlous Forest Golf Club. After the second round resumes at 7, the third round will begin for a few teams at 7:30 a.m. Play is set to go until the conclusion of the tournament.
