GAINESVILLE, Ga. - The No. 17 Columbus State University men's golf team sits in 16th place after the opening day of the University of North Georgia Intercollegiate. The 54-hole event is being played at the Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Ga.
TEAM RESULTS
CSU was consistent throughout the day, posting a 10-over 298 in both the first and second rounds on Monday. Anderson University and the No. 7 University of West Florida are running away from the pack following an impressive day on the course.

Martin Gruendemann leads a pack of Cougars after ending round two with a 4-over 148. Gruendemann tallied a 1-over 73 in the opening round before carding a 3-over 75. Four of the five Cougars are separated by two strokes. Reece Coleman (-9, 135) of Anderson leads his teammate Calahan Keever (-8, 136) atop the leaderboard.
