Martin Gruendemann finished tied for 7th place at the McCoy-Wright Currahee Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 24 hosted by Anderson University. The Cougars finished 6th as a team with a score of 19-over.
After three rounds of play, Gruendemann shot an even par to finish the tournament. He finished the second round with a score of 4-over, then followed up with a 2-under score in the third round.
Russell Makepeace finished tied for 19th, shooting a 3-over. He shot 7-over in round two and shot to par in the third.
Bernard Meyer placed tied for 21st with a score of 4-over, shooting 2-over and 2-under in the final two rounds of play Tuesday.
UP NEXT
Columbus State will be back in action in 2024 with the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate from Feb. 12-13. The tournament is hosted by Lincoln Memorial University in St. Augustine, Fla.
