ALBANY, Ga. - The Columbus State University men's golf team finished tied for fourth out of 17 teams on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Every golfer for Columbus State shot a 76 or lower in all three rounds.
TEAM RESULTS:
The Cougars played some solid golf during all three rounds which placed tied for fourth which would be their best finish of the new year. CSU would finish even-par and would shoot a 288 which they also shot in their opening round of the tournament. Columbus State would finish with 863 total strokes which would be tied with Anderson University and they would be three strokes ahead of Clayton State and Flagler College.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
Martin Gruendemann led the Cougars and finished with 213 total strokes which was one stroke better than his teammate,
Bernard Meyer. Gruendemann finished tied for sixth. Meyer had a fantastic three rounds of golf as he led the Cougars coming into today and he finished today with 214 strokes. He finished tied for 10th.
Karan Nalam and
Arran Kanth both shot sub-220 in the Invitational and
Phil Snyman finished with 225 total shots.

The Cougars will look to continue their momentum on Monday, March 13th as they travel to Valdosta, Ga. for the First Federal South Eastern Collegiate.
