VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Columbus State University men's golf team finished in 12th place out of 18 teams on Tuesday, March 14. Every Columbus State golfer had sub-80 rounds.
TEAM RESULTS:
In the second round, the Cougars shot 15 strokes higher than the first round. In the third round, CSU responded by firing a sub-300 round to end the tournament. Columbus State would shoot 892 which is 28 shots over par. The Cougars would finish one shot better than Montevallo and two shots better than West Georgia.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
Arran Kanth led the Cougars by shooting two rounds of 74 strokes to finish at 221 total for the tournament.
Bernard Meyer and
Martin Gruendemann both finished with 224 total shots for all three rounds combined.
Phil Snyman shot his best round of the tournament in his final round when he fired a 73 which totaled 226 for the tournament.
Karan Nalam shot 229 shots for all three rounds.
