PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Columbus State University men's golf team finished in ninth out of 16 teams in the final round of the Bobcat Invitational on Tuesday, March 21. The Cougars fired 584 total shots in the invitational.
TEAM RESULTS:
CSU shot 300 shots in the second round on day two which was the third highest from all teams. Columbus State finished in ninth tied with USC Aiken but finished one shot in front of Georgia College. The Cougars were two strokes back of Lander University and Coker University who were both tied for seventh.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
Martin Gruendemann led the Cougars today as he shot five over par. Gruendemann finished with 145 total shots and was tied for 25th.
Bernard Meyer was right behind him as he finished six over par with 146 shots for both rounds.
Phil Snyman shot a 77 in the second round which totaled him with 148.
Karan Nalam bounced back as he shot a 79 in the first round but a 71 in the secound round. Nalam had 150 shots in both rounds.
