Box Score 2 PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Columbus State University men's and women's tennis teams drop both of their matches to the University of West Florida on Wednesday, March 22, in their final day of play in Pensacola, Fla.
Men's Singles:
- Santiago Perez defeated T. Descarrega at the number one singles spot with a score of 6-2, 6-0.
- At number three singles, Javier Cueto Ramos won his spot with the score of 6-4, 6-4 taking down F. Bermejo of the Argonauts.
- Tommaso Schold held down his spot at number three singles and took the win from B. Costa with a final score of 6-7, 6-1, and 6-1.
Men's Doubles:
- The team of T. Schold and S. Perez defeated B. Costa and S. Rondon of the Argonauts at number two doubles with a score of 6-4.
Women's Singles:
- Mariana Ramirez grabbed the win at number one singles defeating M. Saguchi with a score of 6-2, 2-6, and 6-2.
- At number four singles, Luciana Galves won her match with a score of 7-5, 6-1 taking down G. Martinez of UWF.
- Nikoline Gullacksen defended her winning streak and won her spot at number five singles with a score of 6-3, 4-6, and 6-2 beating L. Daud of the Argonauts.
Women's Doubles:
- Sara Ramirez and M. Ramirez won their match at number one doubles defeating the team of C. Verdu and A. Midori with a score of 6-3.
