COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University men's golf team will compete in the 2nd Annual Mizuno Intercollegiate hosted by the University of North Georgia on Monday, Sept. 18 and Tuesday, Sept. 19 in Gainesville, Ga.
The Cougars are coming off of a second place finish at the Bearcat Fall Invitational last week, with
Martin Gruendemann finishing tied for sixth in the tournament. The senior from Hamburg, Germany shot par in the third round to give him a final score of 7-under 209.
Phil Snyman also finished in the top-20, placing tied for 18th with a final score of 2-under 214.
The 2023 tournament field includes: Anderson, Carson-Newman, Columbus State, Erskine, Findlay, Florida Southern, Georgia College, Georgia Southwestern, Georgia Southern (Individuals), Lander, Lee, Limestone, Lincoln Memorial, North Georgia, USC Aiken, USC Beaufort, West Florida, Wingate.
36 holes will be played on Monday with the final 18 to be played on Tuesday.
