PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - The Columbus State men's golf team is currently in 5th place out of 22 teams after the first round of the Spring Bulldog Clash hosted by Barton College.
As a team, Columbus State shot 3-over 283 to put them in 5th place, one shot behind Rogers State University, who scored 2-over 282.
Martin Gruendemann lead the Cougars with a 1-under 69, placing him T10th out of 118 individuals.
Phil Snyman and
Bernard Meyer are both T27th with a score of 1-over 71.
Russell Makepeace shot a 2-over 72, putting him T34th.
Karan Nalam is T110, scoring 10-over 80.
The Cougars will play rounds two and three on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
