EATONTON, Ga. - After the first two rounds of the play of the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College & State University, the Columbus State University men's golf team is placed 14th out of 15 teams.Â
The Cougars scored a 290 to start the day and ended with a 297 score, totaling 587 after both rounds.
Martin Gruendemann shot two 3-over pars to place him T29th with a total score of 146.
Russell Makepeace is T56th place, shooting 5-over par in both rounds.Â
Phil Snyman (T70th) scored a 5-over par in the opening round and an 8-over in the second, and
Blake Parkman (T78th) shot an 11-over and 12-over.
Bernard Meyer shot an impressive 3-under par in the first round of play, but was disqualified in the second round.
Columbus State will look to climb the leaderboard on Tuesday in the final round of the invitational.
