COLUMBUS – Columbus State University tennis opens the 2025 spring season with a home match against Anderson (S.C.) on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. ET at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.

#5 Men vs Anderson

• The #5-ranked men's team takes on the Trojans for the first time since Apr. 6, 2023, holding a 10-0 all-time record.
• Andrea Sandrone is the lone Cougar from the 2023 victory over the Trojans, securing wins of 6-2 and 6-4.
• Daniel Hammond ranked 19th in the ITA singles preseason rankings and looks to build upon his successes from the fall.
• Anderson is coming off the fall portion of the 2024-25 season with a 6-1 record and opens the spring at Columbia College (S.C.) on Saturday morning.

• The #9-ranked women's team is 10-0 against Anderson and last beat the Trojans on Apr. 6, 2023, in a 6-0 victory.
• Nikoline Gullacksen, Laura Pesickova, and Mariana Ramirez return from the win two seasons ago.
• Gullacksen ranks third in the singles ITA rankings while Ramirez ranks 16th.
